Portrait Of A Hero - Kris Part 2
Last Fridays Portrait of a Hero was 2 videos that focused on a blind woman named Kris. Her humor brightened our day. She also gave us a new insight on how to look at our challenges. I only knew her from seeing the same videos you saw. Upon doing some further research, I found she has a blog and is a published author...this woman just keeps getting more and more amazing!
Here is a quote from her blog:
“Trials and difficulties can, if we let them, become holy places—places where we can feel the power of the Atonement in our lives. Our struggles can be consecrated to our good and growth, and you and I can become more like Christ.”
—Kris Belcher
On the lighter side, read her post Ready - Egg - Fire!
I invite you to visit her blog Hard Times and Holy Places. You will discover just how great each one of us really are!
Kris has also consented to do an Authors Interview with me which will be coming up in the future! She said she would share her email magic and anything else we want to know!

ReplyDeleteI can imagine how difficult this would be. I think losing your sight would be one of the most difficult things to over come. However inspiring people like her blazes a path for others to have hope and faith for their future without sight.
ReplyDeleteLove people who make their trials into an example for the rest of us. Just like a certain blog writer I happen to know ;D
