Cinderella

Mommy Brag Time...


My daughter Joka attends a Charter School that specializes in Fine Arts!  She just recently finished the play Cinderella by Rodgers and Hammerstein.

This is not your average Disney Production...this is Rodgers and Hammerstein!  Her play was excellent.  She played the Queen (yes, Prince Charming does have a Mother)...lol


Below are 2 photos of the King and my daughter, the Queen!



I am so proud of her, besides speaking, she sang 2 solos and did several dancing scenes! (She didn't trip once-whew!) Her ball gown weighed 25 lbs. 

Before the play, they had a Princess Party where little girls and boys could come and ride in the magic pumpkin carriage with Prince Charming and then meet the Queen and Cinderella and all the Maidens at the Ball.  It was like stepping into a little child's dream come true!

    Oh the Mother has a beautiful Queen, Cinderella...how cool for them, a magic pumpkin ride! Becky Jane, she is beautiful ..look at her smile...gorgeous 25lbs ...seriously?

    I love this! What gorgeous costumes, and I think it's FANTASTIC they let the little guys get in the carriage. I'm sure there were a lot of sweet dreams that night!!!!

    oh my heck! i had no idea she was into acting and stuff! she is so dang pretty!! i wish we could have came and seen the play! you should be a very proud momma!! :)
