Wouldn't it have been easier if the dad just holds the baby and rocks her to sleep. I can't believe the dad even fits in there. Yet, it reminds me of those sleepless nights - not really :(
@Barbara, That's what I was wondering. I remember rocking for hours and then trying to put my sleeping baby back to bed only to have them wake up...I guess it's a 'can't win' situation for parents...lol
Becky, I LOVED that video! Even though the dad was frustrated, he was so tender and gentle with his baby. I had to watch it a couple of times. I never actually got in the crib with mine but I did have times where I got stuck patting their back over the crib and if I would try to leave they would magically wake up and cry again! Thanks for sharing. ~Erin
Hi, I’m from Edge of Escape . I’m following the link from the Voiceboks email. Now following you. Loved this video - except for getting in the crib, this has probably happened to every parent.
HAHAHA. I love that video. I've never climbed in the crib but my kids slept in my bed forever. Congratulations on being a featured member of vB this week!
Okay so I did this. Little Bit was sick and I crawled in there to comfort him. It was quite a feat because I am only 5 foot 3 inches tall ;D My Mom was amazed at first when I told her but then she remembered my climbing skills when I was little ;D
That's so funny! Only my first baby slept in a crib I gave up after a few weeks with the first he hated the crib. All the rest of my babies slept in our bed. I guess they call it the family bed.
LOL... well that didn't work.

ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely hilarious. He should have "left well enough alone"!!! ;-) Too cute...poor baby...and poor Daddy, too!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL. I would have ended up with the baby in my bed, not in the baby's bed. Great video. Congrats on being a featured VB member this week! :)

@Erin, The dads sweetness was what caught my attention too!
ReplyDelete@Edge of Escape, I would not trust a crib to hold an adults weight...lol
@Lisa, Thanks for the congrats. I sleep much better with my kids in my bed than visa-versa...lol
@Deb, He sure got himself in a 'tight spot'!
@Kristy, Thanks. I agree with you on the bed situation...
Becky Jane, that is a totally hilarious video - love it!

ReplyDeleteNo, I never climbed in the crib, but have done everything in between...floor, rocker, my bed...
whatever it takes!

ReplyDeleteI may have traveled to bed from another bed but I never climbed in the crib :)
