"Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to
skid in broadside, totally worn out and proclaiming, 'Wow, what a
ride!' "
I Love that quote! And what an amazing photo as well! That is definitely a great resolution to have for the new year! I can't wait to read all about your "Wow what a ride" life this upcoming year!
Great quote! I definitely strive to make constant resolutions in my life, not just at the New Year. I like to keep improving and changing whenever I can! Happy New Year!
I had a cousin that passed away this year and she always lived life to the fullest. When her son was sorting her house he found a T-shirt she had bought that said this. We agreed it was a saying that was perfect for how she lived her life.
Hey...does falling off the roof of a house, breaking my leg, ankle and foot count? Or how about the time I fell off the monkey bars and broke both of my arms at the same time?
Life...gotta love it. Without it, we'd all be dead.
VERY cool picture! Even better quote. A good friend of mine used to say she was going to skid into the grave, bar of chocolate in one hand and a glass of chardonnay in the other. THAT is a great attitude.
Can't wait to see what you have in store for us. LOL.... I hope you aren't going to try doing flips in your wheel chair.
