Exterior getting ready for stucco and stone. Don't worry, our house is NOT going to be black and white, although some of my boys might wish it was. What is it with boys and the color black?

Wow!!! It is moving right along. Probably not fast enough for you. Hang in there... It will be done soon.
ReplyDeleteWe were supposed to be in in about 2-3 weeks, but our cabinets are setting us back to a month. Oh well, I guess that's okay. :O(
DeleteI remember how exciting it was when we watched our house develop. So fun to dream and plan. I'm happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Honey! It is exciting, like watching a dream come true!

ReplyDeleteI told CL we're not going to put any furniture in it because it will make it look so small1 :O)
DeleteOh wow, I can hardly believe its like little elves theya re working so fast. I am sure you wish it would be faster but it will definatly be worth the wait. I hope you ahve a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you Bonnie!

DeleteYOu have real WALLS!!! I'm so excited!! :) It's getting closer!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have to say, I don't think the black and white looks all that bad. lol.
I laughed when I read your comment...real walls is a big deal...lol
DeleteThe kids weren't too sure about real walls. They liked squeezing through the 2x4's to get from one room to the next...hahaha
Wow! I have to admit Becky Jane, I'm just a little jealous of those mountains in that background! Thus far, the house looks fabulous and I know you are so anxious to be able to finally move in and turn it into a home! Big hugs, xoxo
ReplyDeleteAnytime you want to come visit my mountains, you have a place to stay! Just wait till I post pictures of the view from my studio window...I can see my favorite mountain through it!
DeleteWow it is so exciting to watch a home being built but it does take patience
ReplyDeleteReminds of the quote "Patience is a virtue" I'll be mighty virtuous after all this LOL
DeleteSo much progress!!! I love that transom (is that what it's called?) over the door....lets in lots of light!!! Do you have 9' ceilings?!? Cannot wait to see the decorating!!!
ReplyDeleteThe transom is an extra bonus that I'm so glad for. Yes, the ceilings are 9'. Let's play some basketball!
DeleteLooking good.
ReplyDeleteThe progress looks really fast for me but I bet it seems quite slow for you :) I can imagine the excitement!
ReplyDeleteI remember a program I watched from HGTV channel. They have designed a house to be black (on the outside)! It turned our really gorgeous because everything else was painted in bright white.. the porch, the big windows, the door, the stairs... etc! :)
Spanish Pinay
My sons would be very happy if we did that!
