It's my 52 birthday!

Moomoo, my 7 year old granddaughter: Happy Birthday Grandma!
Me: Thank you Moomoo. Do you know how old I am?
Moomoo: No, how old are you Grandma?
Me: I'm 52 years old!
LONG silence on the other end of the phone...
Moomoo: WOW! Grandma, that's really old!
Ty, my nephew: Aunt Becky Happy Birthday! How old are you?
Me: I'm 52 yeas old!
Ty: Cool, since I'm dyslexic that means your only 25 years old!
CL, my husband: Happy Birthday Dearest!
Me: Thanks Honey!
CL: Just think, in 5 years you'll be as old as me!
Buster: Now that your more than 50 years old, you're really over the hill! That means you're more than half way done...
Me: (no comment)

When my mother turned 50 years old, my hubby, her son-in-law, greeted her with "Happy Birthday. How does it feel being half-century old?" My mother was mortified but that realization, that she is half-century old!

HAPPPPPPPY BIRTHDAY! WOO HOO Now my MIL didn't like to celebrate birthdays, so we use to say Happpppy Harriette Day! Sooooooooo Happpppppy Becky Day!!! What's a number anyways! Your hubby conversation was too funny. So is he going to stay this age, and wait for you to catch up??? LOL Well, I'd like to stay mine & let you catch up to me hahahaha Yep, I've got a few years on ya deary, but I bet I can out dance any one of these young girlie girls. ReplyDeleteDid you know that the day after your birthday is called your "kiss day"? My gramma always said that the angels came down the day after you were born to check up on you. It was then you were given good luck kisses from them. So now- you get to collect as many kisses as you desire! Happy Belated Birthday Becky- Rise Up and keep shining girlfriend!
