Our Cottage

The most important facility on the place...(at least that's what the builders say).

The king checking out his castle!

We got the gas fireplace in...it's still hiding in it's box.

Our doors and windows are in...

The rest of this week they'll be putting in insulation, then drywall and adding the exterior....this is so cool!

  1. This is so cool, how excited you must be. You are going to have your work cut out for you when it come to the garden, but what fun.
Your choice of pictures brings a smile to my dial.
Seeing the king checking out his castle at first gave me the impression the picture was taken with the most important facilities top off. Ha, ha.
Blessings on your new home, Geoff.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Geoff. It is exciting to see our house go up. The garden is going to be quite a chore, we want to put in raised beds so I can reach them. Happy Thursday!

  8. I can 'feel' his anxiousness when he's checking everything out!!! We had a house built when we were first married...and I was out there daily checking the progress. It's fun...but frustrating in having to wait. Is there a 'done' date for a move in?

  9. Looking good Becky, Its a good thing the workers have that porta potty. Who knows where they would choose to go if it weren't there.
