Oh my gosh, was he after the chicken eggs, maybe he already got them, or what he wanted. I hate snakes and have been known to dance when I see them. UGH!
I'll guess he is leaving with a fully tummy of eggs. I use to have a rat snake that hid out in my chicken shed and I let him stay and have some eggs for payment of eating rats.
oh my goodness Becky! I cringe just by thinking of snakes... but this! So long and looking soooo mean.... por chickens. I hope this snake won't come back ever again!
Oh Oh Oh....get the shovel....cuz there is going to be a funeral ....I do NOT like snakes in any form or fashion....I remember when I was about 11 yrs old, I was afraid of chickens and dad made me gather eggs that evening and I reached inside of the nest to get eggs and felt this slimy smooth oily creature...needless to say I screamed dropped the egg basket and ran out the chicken coop leaving the door wide open for all the chickens to escape ...while I was escaping the presence of one Chicken Snake.....dad got upset with me but killed the snake...one down millions to go was my thought! LOL

DeleteLooks like he is going to me. I'm afraid to hear the damage he did! Is it a poisonous one?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if he is poisonous or not...his size is enough to keep me far away!
DeleteOh my goodness I would LOSE it and move the very next day! AHHH! I just can't handle snakes!
ReplyDeleteActually I think she took a shovel too it...ha! Then she took a shovel to her husband for not telling her he'd seen it in the yard the day before.
