How does one reply to this? I wish I were half the person this father is...and to think of our Father in heaven loving me this much is an amazing thought...to be honest, I'm not sure if I've ever considered such a love being extended to insignificant me.
One day Dick and Rick Hoyt will both run, side by side.
Thank you for sharing this...

Aw yes, it is always good to cry from blessings like this and to think God loves us 10 times more than what this father loves his son.
Amazing.

  1. Becky Jane, I have seen this several times now and I always take time to watch it over and over! It is such a testimony of love in action. It is so easy to declare one's warrior love but to get out there and war against oppostion that brings us to a "give up attitude" or "this is just the way it is"...as the doctor advise Rick's parents...put him away ....he will never be anything....but PRAISE GOD FOR PARENTS THAT SAY "NO" ..BUT DECLARE AN ENDURING LOVE .
    Thanks Becky!
