I especially like this painting...it reminds us to be grateful.
When we moved out of the hotel, the staff and managers gave us a $100.00 gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond. It was such a cool surprise.
Along with a few other items, we purchased this napkin holder and Salt & Pepper holder. They look pretty good along side of the serving tray my daughter gave me for Mothers Day!
Tomorrow, I'll show you the Entryway...thanks for stopping by!
Very nice dining area Becky Jane. I love your new furniture too.
ReplyDeleteThankfully the only new thing we bought was the buffet. Our dining set was one we had before the move. (Just a tid-bit...our buffet is actually a TV stand we got from RC Willey. We couldn't find a buffet we liked, but we really fell in love with the TV stand for our buffet.)
DeleteI am really enjoying the pics of the new home. It is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what room is next. I love the napkin holder and S/P shakers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bee. Next will be the entryway!
DeleteVery pretty. Do you store china etc. in the 2 closets?
ReplyDeleteOriginally, the 2 closets were going to be pantries, but we ended up having tons of space in the kitchen, so one closet is for games and toys and the other closet is a linen and extra blanket closet. My pretty dishes are stored in the buffet.
DeleteWOW! I'm speechless! That is just a beautiful room and I'm with you, love the painting! Your home is simply lovely! ~big hugs, xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you Mitzi. We feel very fortunate that everything turned out good. Hope you have a terrific day sweetie!
DeleteI love it. I hope I can eat at that table one day.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely...now that we have a home, you can come and visit anytime! Lets see...General Conference is in about 2 1/2 months...hint!
DeleteYay, Becky. It's just beautiful! I love your taste! Can't you just see your vB family around that table sharing a meal?? I pray you have many happy meals around the table with family and friends!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
~Erin
It would be a wonderful dinner indeed! All my vB friends sitting around the table eating good food and having a great conversation!
DeleteOh my. I'm blown away by your dining area. LOVE IT!!
ReplyDelete:O) Thanks Grandma Honey!
DeleteLove it Becky Jane! You have a great eye for balance and completeness. The room is edited perfectly!

ReplyDeleteThanks for taking time out of your possessed dishwasher life! I appreciate you stopping by. We're all excited for BonBon Retreat. It was fun getting an early peek!
DeleteYour new home is so neat and tidy. Love how you've decorated. Is that little door in the column a "broom" closet?!?!? Can't wait to see the entryway!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a game/toy closet. Mainly for the grandkids.
DeleteWhat a great idea!!! I told my hubby today about the door you had built into your "island" to access that awkward cabinet. He thought that was a very good idea and might do that for me!!! YAY!!! Thanks!!!
DeleteWow, what kind of hotel were you in? That was so nice of them.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a surprise. We made some good friends there.
DeleteI love your dining area.
ReplyDeleteBecky, it is so beautiful. I know you must be so at peace there as a family. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI just love your table. You will make lots of good memories at that table.
ReplyDeleteI love all the little touches of Blue & White, the frog is adorably hiding beneath the plants! I can't wait to see more!
