Honey Facial

Did you know that your kitchen pantry holds all sorts of natural beauty products? These are what I call - My Kitchen Vanities. One of my favorites is HONEY.

Using honey as a facial cleanser and moisturizer sounds like 'sticky' business. In reality its easy to use, inexpensive, and and your face will love it.

Several months ago I quit using over-the-counter facial cleanser and moisturizers for one simple reason - the ingredients. I figure if I can't pronounce it, I'm not going to put it on my face.

  8. Congratulations on your weight loss Becky. I should try honey on my face to help relieve my acne symptoms. I have heard honey has natural antibacterial properties in it's make up but I haven't tried it.

    1. Honey has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties both of which help with acne. Everyones experience is different, so I'd like to hear how honey works for you. It did wonders for me, I've had acne for over 30 uyears and now it's gone...finally. Having pimples as an adult has been a 'NOT fun' adventure.

  12. Maybe there was something wrong with the honey I used when I tried applying it to my skin. My sensitive skin got red and itchy.

Nice to have you back in the blogging scene, Becky :). You're a health and wellness diva now, I see.

    1. Some people have a reaction to honey, I would suggest not using it, but possibly trying a yogurt facial. Use plain yogurt...it's delicious for your face!

Thanks, it's good to be back!
